Help Rebuild Indigenous Project

Helping the Indigenous Rebuilt after Disaster.

The struggle is far from over! The Philippine Ulysses cyclone destroyed thousands of homes and killed many. It has been difficult to get any help for thousands of islands, including villages on the mainland.

I am not a teller of bad news, but my Filipino people, already deprived by long lockdowns creating hunger, depression, and suicide, now faced with this added typhoon destruction left without resolution for tangible assistance. Many are stuck. Their news is rarely heard in the mainstream media. And perhaps people from other countries may have already helped. Still, the reality is that the corrupt organizations who advertise and fundraise big-time with full media coverage for these types of disasters have raised a lot of money, unfortunately, it does not go to the people.

It's not a new story. This is an ongoing corruption where funds disappear, or a little video and news clip is given back instead to the viewers to satisfy them. A need for authentic social service is truly rare. Help Rebuild Indigenous Project is one of the rare honest ones! Unfortunately, they do not receive any help from the mainstream fundraisers. Being that I know them personally, and my daughter has volunteered for them for mass feeding programs and help kids distribute books, I felt a personal understanding of their commitment and integrity. It is my job and ours to do something about this. It's just good to be well informed.

My friend, Deo Palma, a spiritual guide for the Maharlika Paradise Indigenous Village, has told me they have been hit hard with the typhoon that took out the roofs and walls of their houses, schools, and village centers. With a 10X10 ft. room occupied by five or more people, now without a roof and without funds to rebuild. This tragic loss and suffering can be lessened as we come together to assist.

Imagine if you made donations to help out, and every single cent went directly to replace roofs, walls and install back a ruined water supply for the community. How would you feel that there's no middle man to take away your donations? How will it be like for you to know that in return for your assistance, people without pay are ready to pull back up their sleeves to enthusiastically get to work, repair, attach the walls, roofs, etc. to the dwellings. And in gratitude for your help, show you they are united as a community to help themselves and their neighbors? And how would you feel that your assistance makes a huge and direct difference in peoples' lives with your kind support? United, we can never be broken!

My goal is to help raise funds to get back structures and roofs over people's heads. Get them out from cold, rain, or extreme heat. Their necessities of life can be in part provided by our caring human nature. It is good karma to serve. My spiritual master Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji says that "Serving humanity is serving God!" I truly believe this. My daughter and I have personally donated, and I ask that any amount you donate to rebuilding these villagers homes and schools be given with a generous, caring heart.

Village concerns, worries and not knowing how to go about the after effect, the leader of the Maharlika Paradise Village, Deo Palma requested humanitarian assistance.

About Deo Palma: A hardworking leader and organizer, and a sincere person I personally know as a great humanitarian, is devoted to social service. Decades ago, this yogi monk of Ananda Marga has served people in other 3rd world countries in need. Nearly dying from severe malaria while in Africa, Deo returned to the Philippines. As he recovered, he continued his humanitarian work and created Maharlika Paradise. He inspires artists and writers to revive their almost lost culture. Deo teaches meditation and yoga practices to help educate and improve their well being. At the same time, he provides mass feedings, free schooling for kids and helping in any possible ways to practically soothe human hearts and minds during and after these disasters via donations from local people. But there are just too much work to do with no funds to do them. His urgent goal now is to help rebuild what is basic to people's needs. Our hope is that this message is getting to you to be heard and seen!

Be a part of rebuilding indigenous village life in Philippines. All donations go directly to materials to rebuild housing and destroyed water supply.
